this is actually more of a progress thread until I'm closer to a final conversion... but the project still remains, as Pichu WILL be a member in brawl I promise you that
this will use the Pichu from Melee, and will be the only MDL0 I ever build by hand (once I figure out the entire format)
as for an image for proof of the project, I can't seem to get another conversion as good as this one:
but I'll eventually get it to convert perfectly >

just figured out how nintendo applies their textures...
this is an old conversion obj I imported... but I made the materials and applied the textures myself (the top button window is the texture, while the bottom is the material/shader) ^the texture window does have a few shader commands >_>
I'm not using the direct method of mapping the UV's to the texture...
in fact, I'm using the indirect method which applies the texture to the UV's using the shader
just another achievment that brings Pichu closer to being in brawl >

This is great! I know some psa, hitbox creating and stuff, and if you are doing a true melee pichu, i might try to help a bit if I can.
