this template is for use with viewing MDL0 files: (use with HexEdit 4.0) -version 8 MDL0 files aren't yet supported w/o error (don't know the differences)
this is perhapse my biggest update alot has been learned about everything since my last release, and now I can say my template is nearing perfection. ;D
you can get it here: gist.github.com/977683
template name: "_mdl0.xml"
please refer to the Basic Knowledge thread for further instructions on what to do

I've made yet another UD... heh
got rid of the FOR instances for the facepoints that were slowing it down and got rid of duplicate data (which I commented out) which was also slowing it down meaning the template is now much faster
it only shows you the first facepoint of the first geometry object (if the geometry object is not a matrix) the count will tell you how many facepoints are in the object
enjoy

NICE JOB! still haven't tried any of your stuff, but i can't wait to! heh... thanx...
all that's left that isn't done is materials/shaders and the TEV's the most complicated parts DX
luckily I've got alot of documentation on the TEV's... the materials/shaders are another story

UD: v9 MDL0's are still the only working ones...
but from that, I've increased the loading speed, set material nodes to their proper name, and fixed alot of other stuff dealing with the objects.
there may be other stuff I'm not recalling atm that has also been fixed >_>
anyways... have fun

YAY!!! I've gotten the definitions fully supported now
only problem is it loads extremely slow in edit mode, but it's extremely fast out of edit mode, AND there are no errors
